The unseen maladministration committed at the Japanese Embassy

(By Shimelis Mulugeta)   Japan is one of the leading economies in the world.  It is said that Ethiopia's relations with Japan have been strong, especially since the time of Haile Selassie I.   Haile Selassie I's contribution to the country, especially in times of crisis, also helped to strengthen relations between the two countries. The chain of communication, which was started by Haile Selassie I, has reached its current stage with the victory of Abebe Bikila in the   Tokyo Olympic Marathon. However, some are trying to break the ties between the two nations and to break the good chains between the two peoples. ` It is unfortunate that the maladministration crimes being committed at the embassy are being perpetrated by an individual at the visa section in the Japanese embassy and that they are denying entry visas to innocent people, especially well-known individuals. In Japan, some pursue their agendas against depriving them of the right to travel fr

The Ethiopia Foreign Affairs still Sleeping ! by Wosenseged Mersha  Ethiopia & Japan a good Relation further...the two country  a long history and great tradition .The most well-known Ethiopia & Japan is probably Abebe Bikila    legendary marathon runner the two -time consecutive  gold medal winner  in both the Rome Olympic  Games in 1960 & The Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964 . Japan and Ethiopia enjoyed relations since in the 1930s .As a matter  of fact HIM Emperor Haile  Selassie was the very first state gust the japan welcomed after the world war ll .in return ,Their Majesties  The Emperor  and Empress (Then Crown prince and princess ) visited  Ethiopians four years later 1960 .Even though we are proud of our friendly Exchange in the past .we would also like to take vigorous step forward in to the future . japanse people said Japan and Ethiopia  peoples have a lot in common  . The Custom of bowing to one another is only one of many similarities  .both peoples also tend to be reserved rather than aggressive  .It seems  to me that we are naturally  able to understand each other very well. on the basis of such similarities  .  any way   I was granted political asylum in Japan in 2009 and i lived in Japan until 2017.I  am  returned to Ethiopia for a short visit in 2017.  Now   three year pass  by landing visa problem . still The Japanse  embassy is not Solved my visa issued .of course I already know it long time ago expected like this obstacle  ! b/c That is Ethiopia .  The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is committed  solving my problem easily he said. first   the foreign ministry wrote a letter to the embassy in English, stating that the letter, which was supposed to be issued by Japan's Narita Airport, would be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  He sends the photocopy and some document. in English three months ago.  It is unfortunate that the embassy has ignored the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has chosen to remain silent due to a crisis, and it shows the contempt of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Unfortunately, the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, as it is known, will only be delayed by one week to respond to any letter sent to it.  How long has it been since the embassy has not responded to the request for more than three months? The case has been delayed for so long while we wait to see. Is there another benefit link or another government hand in hand with the journalist? any way i write this letter  The Ethiopia Forigen  Affairs  To the FDRE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Addis Ababa Subject: Complaint Prior to the change, I had been living in Japan with my family since 2009 due to a press crisis in Ethiopia. After coming to Ethiopia to complete some of my affairs and to visit my family, I was able to go to Japan with my ID and go to Japan with my ID, because of the abuse and mistreatment of Ethiopians at the embassy, especially if you do not bring a valid certificate.  I'm struggling. My wife, Hanna Hundesa, and my lawyer, Mr.Shigo Watenabe applied for a transit visa(Eligibility Certificate) in Japan without even having my visa expired. Although the application was filed in Japan, I was asked to apply for a transit visa myself, but the embassy refused to allow me to travel to Japan.  I was told I could not go to Japan unless I went straight to China. I was sent back from the airport. My attempt to settle my case in neighboring Kenya by sending a person to Djibouti in front of the embassy there was unjustified and I was subjected to bankruptcy and harassment.  I was arrested by embassy staff for violating the Terrorism Proclamation by the Federal Police, and I was able to explain the situation to the authorities. In addition, journalists went to Afro FM to explain the reason for my ban on the "Diplomat Corner" program.  When it started, my case was dismissed and the document was returned to the radio station and I was told that you could not enter the tourist visa because you are a resident of Japan. During my long e-mail exchange with the Japanese Immigration Service, I could not apply because I could not apply directly from Ethiopia.  They told me that they could not see it at the time and that I should contact the embassy for help, but the embassy still refused. In my opinion, the main reasons for the embassy's refusal are twofold. One is that I insulted the embassy staff before the change, and the other is that Japan is a non-asylum-seeking country like most other countries, and most of the embassy staff have their families and many have been denied asylum in Japan. I think it was a conspiracy to make them live in the shadows. My close friend and friend Eskinder Nega, who is currently in prison, and I wrote and worked for his newspaper, Ethiopis, and some magazines, deliberately using my name and reputation to tarnish the image of the Ethiopian government.  They are deliberately trying to get me arrested. Therefore, I respectfully request that the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs take disciplinary action against its like employees in the embassy Ethiopian Workers and those affected by the TPLF's political interests at the embassy, and that I contact the Japanese Ambassador and even land at Tokyo Narita Airport in Japan to discuss my case with those concerned. best regard!
